Alex Tagliani

With 5 poles and 11 podiums, the experienced and talented "Tag" is known for his consistency as a driver, his speed in qualifying, and his technical ability on car setup.

After running his qualifying race on the Rexall Edmonton Indy track, Alex will join us at the Energy Services Summit on Thursday evening. Alex is an entertaining motivational speaker who brings lessons on teamwork, execution, and success from the world of high-performance racing and how those lessons apply to any business. He'll also share (and show) some of the incredible facts, figures, technology, and science involved in racing an 800-horsepower, million-dollar racing machine at speeds topping 320 km/hr!

There is no "I" in Team

Race day:  Thousands of cheering people; racing fans with team shirts and hats, children with painted faces waving flags.  The cars speed past, racing, battling for position.  The checkered flag falls, the fans cheer, balloons are released and the winning driver celebrates by smoking tires in an exhibit of donuts.  As the driver steps up to receive the glory, it is the hard work and dedication of the team behind him, not the podium beneath his feet that gives support enough to grasp the winner’s trophy!

Looking beyond the “I”  - the “driver” is important in any team.  Building a strong team is the key to success.
